I know I have not been blogging much about my garden, but stuff is growing. To be honest, my job has been super stressful this school year. It has been so stressful that I have lost a little over 10 pounds during the last two months, but what brings me peace is being outside in my garden. What calms my nerves (besides a glass of wine) is a cup of tea. I'm not the only tea lover in my home; my sons love tea too especially fresh mint tea.
That meant it was time for a mint harvest! Before harvesting mint, Gardener Jerry had to take in the aroma.
We were able to harvest enough mint to make tea and even have some left over for later.
Both of my boys love mint tea with honey. I add honey sometimes, and other times, I drink it without adding any sweeteners to it.
Drinking mint tea is calming. There is nothing like harvesting mint and making fresh tea right away. If it is possible, have tea for two. Relaxing with good conversation with a friend or sitting in silence with a beloved friend is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Remember, anyone can be a gardener. You just need to get ready, get set, and grow!
