Anyone can be a gardener. You just need to get ready, get set, and grow!
In 2024, we grew okra, watermelon, cherry tomatoes, Carmen peppers, jalapenos, blackberries, arugula, strawberries, eggplant, cantaloupe, oregano, thyme, mint, French tarragon, lemon balm, sage, basil, green onions, and onion chives.
I hope I did not forget anything!

Garden 2024
The gardening journey continues!
Successes

We successfully grew eggplants for the first time.

We were able to make a drink out of the melons that had accidentally fallen off before they were ripe.

Gardeners Jerry and James planted plants, watered plants, and harvested independently of Gardener Shicole!
Struggles

We were unable to find an eggplant recipe that everyone enjoyed, so I don't think we will grow it next year.

A couple of melons got prematurely detached from the vine before they were ripe.

We didn't have time to expand our raised garden beds. Hopefully, we will in 2025.
New Updates

We had blackberries finally!

We planted strawberries again that were still healthy when the season ended which means we should have lots of strawberries in 2025.
From Our Boys

Jerry - Everything grew really well. The Carmen peppers tasted delicious. They were some of the best peppers we have ever grown.

James - My cantaloupe grew well again, and I got to eat a lot of them.
