Indeterminate vs Determinate Tomatoes

One of the first plants I grew was a tomato plant. Once my grandmother was getting up in age and taking care of a house was too much for her, she downsized to an apartment. Her apartment had a small fenced in patio. Although she did not have much room, she put a few pots outside to grow tomato plants. This is where I first learned you can grow a garden anywhere even if you don't have much space.

I think tomatoes are one of the easiest plants to grow, but the more you know about each plant you grow, the better you can care for it. My friend Kat was having some tomato trouble and that made me think about how I haven't said much about tomatoes lately especially our situation with the black cherry tomato plant in our garden.

Watch the video to learn more about our black cherry tomato plant situation and the difference between indeterminate and determinate tomatoes.
